The BIG news is obviously the arrival of the long-awaited, new, Goacher's Web Site.
Now it's possible for dedicated beer lovers to not only discover the pubs where our delightful beverages can be enjoyed, but also to view a map showing them where each one is located. Now there can be no excuses...!
Thanks are due to Ben and the lads at What If? for their hard work in making it all happen (that must be worth a pint!) and we intend to do our best to keep the site up to date, as time goes by.
Looking back over the past year I see we have been quietly amassing more awards for our beers. Last summer's "Kent Beer Festival" at Canterbury saw 'Goacher's Gold Star' being chosen as "Beer of the Festival", easing a fairly well-known regional into second place!
The same year also saw two of our dark beers win Gold. Both 'Goacher's Real Mild' and 'Goacher's Old 1066' were selected to represent London and the South East Region in their respective categories at the prestigious CAMRA 2010/11 "Champion Beer of Britain" finals. And although we weren't placed on the day, we were very proud to have been there. Very British. (After all, it's not the winning that counts...!)
