We source our ingredients as local as possible, with all of our hops coming from within Kent. In fact, when brewing green hop we go along to Clinch’s Farm in Faversham and collect the hops ourselves, from vine to Hop Back in a matter of hours!
To get what we believe to be the best traditional floor malt we have to go a little further to Warminster Maltings in Wiltshire and Crisp Malt in Norfolk. We have a long established relationship with Warminster’s Malting’s, who supply us with our specific low colour Maris Otter, allowing our dangerously drinkable Gold Star to shine!
Then we get to that the golden, or should we say green, ingredient! The Hops!
We are lucky to have the support of three local farms within Kent who grow the finest hops for our range of ales.
